Since 2014, Johnson & Johnson has been partnering with Aga Khan University School of Nursing and Midwifery (AKU-SONAM) in East Africa to further strengthen the nursing and midwifery professional organizations in the region and improve the quality of health services delivered. A new milestone has been achieved with the launch of the AKU-SONAM C.A.R.E website – a free, comprehensive virtual resource platform for the professional advancement of nurses and midwives working in East Africa and beyond. The aim of the website is to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to improve the quality of healthcare services in the region.
