The 2018 Johnson & Johnson One Young World Scholarship Program is now open for applications for global young leaders.

Hand in Hand International has been a Secondment partner of Johnson & Johnson since 2016.

OUR MISSION is to make a sustainable, long-term difference to human health. We do this by investing in strategic partnerships and innovative solutions that add value to society and make a significant difference to people’s lives.

For the past 10 years, the Johnson & Johnson Corporate Citizenship Trust has empowered everyday change makers on the front lines of health with the tools and resources they need to make a difference across the EMEA region.

In 2017, the Trust engaged with 29 partners in 30 countries delivering over
£4.5 million to programs within the EMEA region benefitting 643,700 beneficiaries (excluding Designated Funds).

Strategic Innovation for Community Health (STICH)

The Secondment Program enables Johnson & Johnson employees across EMEA to support NGO partner organizations by sharing their skills and knowledge in long-term assignments.

Program aims:

To identify and provide much needed skill sets to our NGO partners
To enhance the professional and personal development of J&J employees
To strengthen the trust and reputation of J&J by bringing Our Credo to life

SECONDMENT PROGRAM

ONE YOUNG WORLD

Since 2013, we have partnered with One Young World (OYW), a not-for-profit organization that gathers together the brightest young leaders from around the world, to strengthen leadership capacity both internally at Johnson & Johnson and externally to those working on the front lines of care through our Scholarship Program.

To date, 90 J&J OYW young leaders (aged 18-30) from across the globe, including eight scholars, have participated in the program and attended the annual OYW Summit where they have had the opportunity to learn from inspirational world leaders and to debate, formulate and share innovative solutions for some of the world’s most pressing health issues.

The 2018 OYW Summit will be held in The Hague, The Netherland (17- 20 October).

The Trust Flagship Partners are organisations committed to making a difference in human health and sharing aligned missions and values with the Trust. These are long standing partnerships that set the standard in achieving high social impact across the EMEA region. The Trust currently has 3 Flagship Partners.

One of the world’s leading international development organizations, the AKDN operates as a network of private development agencies, covering a wide remit of sectors. These include health and education, in some of the poorest countries in the world.

One of the world’s leading business schools that delivers three health leadership programs, funded by the Trust. These offer senior leaders and managers in the health care arena the opportunity to transition leadership and management thinking to their complex delivery organizations.

Offers primary health care services, HIV testing and health education to hard-to-reach, mobile populations such as truck drivers and sex workers, through their Blue Box Roadside Wellness Centers.
